Six people have died in a shooting and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv.

 

Six individuals have been killed in a shooting and knife attack in Tel Aviv, according to Israeli police.

At least nine others have been reported injured, with several in critical condition. 

The attack reportedly started in a rail carriage and continued onto the platform. Social media images showed the gunman firing at bystanders in the Jaffa area.

Police stated that two attackers were "neutralized" by members of the public and classified the motive as "terror."
